My mate and I want to apply for a joint mortgage,he's got a clean record but I have a few defaults on my file,will they approve the application or will it be denied. Am making arrangements to get the defaults paid to era.Serious answers only.Thanx

Easiest way to recall is to just go and apply for a mortgage. Find someone that doesnt charge an application fee, and give them your w2's and paystubs and apply for the loan. you'll find out much faster that way. Dont be shy or red-faced if you do, ask what steps you need to take to get approved.
