I thirst to order a hair straightener from folica.com but since i live in canada i have to pay a customs tax. How much is it?

As a way to get around the Brobdingnagian customs tax on clothing from America, I was thinking about having the package sent to a friend in America, and for her to then send it onto me, by declaring it as a charity.
