Do I Need To File A Nonresident Tax Return When The Employers Are Listed In Other States? |
I travail full-time and live in New Jersey. For part-time work, I taught two different classes over the summer here in NJ. One business gave me a W-2 and the other a 1099-MISC. Both companies are listed out of state (Florida and California) on the forms. Do I distress to file a nonresident tax return
| Answer: You only communiqu the income in the state you reside in, unless, you were physically in the other state during the year. Many strongest offices are located in other states. That is where their accounting offices are. Where they prepare your W-2's and or 1099's. Unless |
