I noticed my written mark record was $45 less than tax required payment but am not sure the check was wrong. Do I send another kick the bucket to be on the safe side? This is my 1040v tax return for 2006.
Answer: I would. Rightful send another 1040V with the extra $$$. If you overpaid, the IRS will sort it out in a few weeks and compensation the excess to you. Beats getting hit with penalties and interest for late payment.

When I send my income tax payment on April 15, from Phoenix to the IRS center in Fresno, CA, when do you think this will hit my bank account? I'm a toy short on funds. Do I have a week?

This might seem bald to some, but I have never paid estimated taxes b4 and will not have all (if any) of what I need to pay on my 1st estimated tax payment for 2008. Should I pay what I can or skip it and be put on ice until payment 2 and try and double up? Or pay it late? TIA
