When Buying A House, Do Property Tax Exemptions Transfer? |
Let's say someone buys a 100,000 dollar dynasty. The house has property taxes of 1000 dollars per year, AFTER primary residence and mortgage exemptions. The antecedent to owner had these exemptions. When you become the new owner, do the exemptions transfer? Do you have to file somewhere for them?
