I am not a contractor, this is my full but job, they never take taxes out. when i filed taxes i did through this joke of an accountant and they won't give me last years records.
Critical question: why file 1040 schedule C and not 1099? if I'm just a regular mortal physically? is my company shady?
If a contractor legitimately receives a 1099misc, they would fill out a 1040 and List C when they file their tax return so there is nothing wrong with that.

My relation just got married with a girl from another country. She has no Social security # or Tax ID #. I dont intend she has ever help a job while in this country. How does claim her on his Federal 1040? Is there a special comprise that he need to include as well? I thought a copy of his marriage
I reflect on he's supposed to get her an ID number. Here's what I THINK is the right form to use, though I'm certainly not a tax professional - no more than someone with a vague memory of doing something like this a few years back.
