I Came To Canada On Work Permit And Started Work In January 2008 Do I Need To File Income Tax Canada?

Hi ,
I am vishal , I have came to Canada in Jan 2008 on m permit , I was curious do I need to File tax returns now or not , I do not have nay T4 slips and for my pay since Jan tax had been deducted from my paycheque , do I desideratum to file tax this year or not ??
