My peace pays local taxes for the city he works in, we live in a different bishopric. When we file our school district tax form, do we get any credit for paying the other local tax (where the employer is located)? Seems odd that we have to pay $302 to our townsman school district and also pay $636

Hi everyone, I received a Fire District tax bill and was wondering if that was theorized to be included in my mortgage. They have an escrow account for taxes, so is this supposed to come out of that monies or is it my obligation?

Answer: That should be funded from your escrow account. That is assuming the the mortgage throng knew about the separate tax for the fire district.
All of the information your mortgage company has is on your closing statement, and if that isn't listed, then they most probably don't know about

In box #18 on the w2 there are two incomes listed. Both taxes are shown in box # 19 on the w-2 and listed seperately. In box #20 - Locality name - one tax is assigned the locality abreviation and the other a institute district number. Should they be listed seperatley on the 1040?
