What's The Tax Treatment For After-tax Contribution And Earnings In A 401K Plan Re-directed To An IRA Rollover

Can the after-tax earnings rolled over to an IRA with tax-deferral or transferred to a biweekly brokerage account? If to a brokerage account what's the tax treatment, ordinary tax or capital gains? Any other thoughts?
Answer: I thirst I could answer this, as I have been wondering myself! I max out my pre-tax dollars in my 401k plan, and still have money left over at the end of the month. So, I started making after-tax contributions to the project as well.

I already recollect that Health Insurance Premiums can be tax deductible.
It depends if the premium is taken out of taxed or nontaxed moeny(earnings). I'm scarcely not sure how to tell the difference when looking at my W2's. Please help and thanks.
Answer: Condition insurance premiums that YOU pay and not your employer will be in Box 12, Letter "D". If there is a conflict between Line One and Line three [or five], subtract letter "D" in Box 12 from Band 3. You should get Line One to the penny. If you do, your health insurance premiums

I lived in a burgh which has a 1% earnings tax and the company I worked for neglected to deduct this 1% from my paycheck. I've since gotten a strictly from the Collector of Revenue stating that the city is owed this 1%. Is this my responsibility to pay this amount, or my foregoing employer's?
Answer: Yours.
You withdraw into a nasty catch-22 that says *if* your employer had withheld and paid it, you don't have to fill out a separate return.
Since it wasn't paid and no form was filed, the bill remains receivable. And since the form was never filed, it's statute is forever.
