I heard on the news a few weeks that anyone who received a strictly from HMRC asking for repayment of overpaid tax credits should ignore it. Apparently a court evaluation decided that HMRC could not ask for repayment and were not to send out any more letters demanding repayment with a menace of prosecution.
Answer: some letters when out with the awful date on them and should be ignored.Correct letters will be issued.Unfortunately this does not degenerate you no longer owe money, It just means the date they ask you to pay it back by is wrong

and in my anyhow i haven't worked in like 7 years because i became disable. but i heard i can still get a refund because of what the IRS owns me. what i heard in the news
