I do have a few occasionally tax questions. I did try to look through the IRS website, but since english is not my first language, it's a tiny bit hard to understand. If a married foster-parent that lives in a different state than her husband does not make any money, is she still allowed to interfile


Answer: It doesn't essentials what state the husband and wife live in, you are still eligible to file as married filing jointly. You MUST march if you meet certain income thresholds.

I am preparing my taxes using Turbo Tax, and my topic is relating to a 1098 form that I received from my daughters college. She is a full time undergraduate and had Hope Scholarship till the end of 2007. Last year I claimed life dream of credit.
